Last Updated: August 1 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to POP Therapies, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and clinical services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you (“you,” “Client,” or “Parent/Guardian”) agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old—or have parental/guardian authority to enroll a minor—and warrant that you can accept these Terms on the minor’s behalf.
3. Enrollment & Intake
- Assessment & Documentation. A completed intake packet (referral, diagnosis, insurance authorization, consent forms) is required before any assessment or therapy is scheduled.
- Accepted Insurance Plans. We are in-network with:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield (including Anthem Blue Cross)
- Blue Shield of California
- CalOptima Health
- Cigna
- Aetna
- UnitedHealthcare
- Optum
We also accept self-pay arrangements.
- Financial Responsibility. You are responsible for co-pays, deductibles, non-covered services, and any late-cancellation fees. Balances more than 30 days past due may result in service suspension until paid.
4. Scope of Services
We provide in-clinic ABA assessments, individualized behavior-intervention plans, direct therapy sessions, parent training, supervision, social-skills groups, and progress reporting. All services are delivered by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), qualified mid-level supervisors, or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under BCBA supervision and in compliance with BACB® guidelines.
5. Scheduling & Cancellations
Late Cancellation / No-Show. Notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours or missed sessions incur a $25.00 fee, payable before the next session. Repeated late cancellations may lead to service suspension.
6. Consent & Confidentiality
You authorize us to collect, use, and share personal, health, and educational information solely for treatment, billing, quality improvement, and other purposes outlined in our Privacy Notice. We comply with HIPAA, state privacy laws, and BACB® standards.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, distraction-free environment for sessions.
- Follow home-practice and data-collection guidance from your BCBA.
- Report safety or progress concerns promptly.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services with 30 days’ written notice. We may terminate immediately for safety concerns, repeated policy violations, non-payment, or other material breach of these Terms.
9. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will first be addressed informally in good faith. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules in Orange County, California.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, POP Therapies and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of the Services after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
